About this item
- The Blackthorn is found throughout Ireland and the British Isles, and it has been prized for centuries as a material for premium walking sticks.
- The most well-known incarnation of the classic Blackthorn stick was the Irish Shillelagh a tool that was so fearsome in trained hands that the English outlawed it.
- To circumvent this law, the Irish modified the Shillelagh into the classic walking stick that we are familiar with today.
- Cold Steel's modern interpretation of this beautiful and historically significant walking stick is made from high impact polypropylene.
- It's incredibly durable and is easy to clean with a little soap and water.
