The locking liner, locks the blade open, keeping it from accidentally closing while in use. To ensure it will not accidentally open in transport, the Scallion is equipped with a Tip-Lock slider to lock the blade closed when folded. To ensure comfort while using the Scallion, Kershaw attached textured, glass-filled nylon handle scales, for durability and ease of use. Made in the USA.
