- This Stock Weight Kit makes it quick and easy to add up to 1.6 lbs. of steel weights in the stock of the Ruger American Rifle Stock Generation II rifle.
- Shifting the center-of-gravity (CG) rearward counteracts heavy muzzle-end weights such as bipods, silencers, etc. and improves the rifle's balance, reduces felt recoil and improves carrying comfort in the field.
- The weight and balance of the rifle can be tuned by installing weights in 4 oz. increments based on shooter preferences and needs.
- The kit includes (6) 4 oz. coated steel weights in a tight-fitting molded cassette that lets shooters add up to 1.6 lbs. of total weight to the butt of the rifle.
- The cassette installs securely into the stock of the American Rifle Generation II using simple tools and without making permanent modification to the rifle.
